The event will be jointly organized by MIK HFC LLC with the support of the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction and Housing, the Bank of Mongolia, the Financial Regulatory Commission, the Governor's Office of the Capital City, and the German Sparkassenstiftung Mongolia.
Participants will include representatives from Mongolian government institutions, member organizations of the Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association (ASMMA), the European Mortgage Federation – European Covered Bond Council (EMF-ECBC), Deutsche Bank, European Federation of Building Societies, and international financial institutions operating in Mongolia. Delegation from more than ten countries are expected to attend the forum.
As part of the forum, presentations and panel discussions will be held on topics including International Housing Finance Systems, Global Bond Markets, and Sustainable Housing in International Finance, while participants will also engage in discussions on the key challenges currently facing the sector.
Since its establishment, MIK HFC LLC has consistently supported the Government of Mongolia's housing policy and contributed to the development of the country's housing finance system for the past 20 years. In this regard, MIK has been actively working to improve housing accessibility, establish and strengthen a long-term sustainable financing framework, localize international best practices, and implement the Government's Affordable Housing Finance Program.
In addition, as part of the anniversary celebrations, annual general meeting of the Asian Secondary Mortgage Market Association (ASMMA) is planned to be held in Mongolia for the second time.
